Protect Yourself in a Public Setting

No matter where you are when a terrorist attack occurs, it is imperative you have the necessary skills to not only protect yourself but the others around you, as well. Our team at J.S. Steele Enterprises, LLC have extensive experience in both domestic and international security matters, and we strive to help ensure individuals throughout Texas are safe at all times. We created a list of safety tips designed to help you stay safe in a public setting during an attack.

If you are in a public setting during a terrorist attack or threat, please remember:

Block the area you are in with as many heavy items as possible so the terrorist cannot access you
If you are in a separate room from the alleged terrorist, always look through a peephole to ensure the outside area is safe
Press a panic bar or any other type of alarm system (a silent hold-up alarm is also ideal) if necessary to alert others of the terrorist
If the terrorist is inside your building, try to leave all windows clear of obstruction in the event you can escape using said windows
